Greetings, and thank you for visiting the website of Level Up Reading! By way of introduction, my name is Brandon Zurvalec and I am a K - 5 reading specialist and founder of Level Up Reading. But because you are here, I am assuming that there is a precious child in your life who is struggling to read. And if this is the case, let me start by commending you for realizing the seriousness of the matter and taking action. For as we all know, the ability to read is one of the keys to fully participating in life. Among other things, it allows one to excel in school, apply for that dream job, start and grow a business or simply enjoy a great book on a Sunday afternoon. So when a child isn’t progressing in reading as hoped for and expected, it can foster tremendous anxiety in that child as well as anyone with a heartfelt interest in the child as a whole. But as scary as these things can be, most struggling readers can learn to read including, in all likelihood, your precious child. Well here at Level Up Reading, I work one-on-one with struggling K - 5 readers and get them reading on grade level so that reading, itself, can be the enjoyable, empowering experience it should be.
